Oh my God! WHAT A TERRIFIC COMEBACK! Belgium winning 3-2!

These Japanese players looks truly devastated. Great game. Buck up, dudes.
Heck of a free kick from Honda at the end
one of the greatest soccer games I have ever seen....no stop action, both teams going at each other, which favored Belgium in the end!
this is soccer.

Why the hell is Belgium playing Lukaku at all?? He's the worst.
What we're you saying about Lukaku????
This has to be the game of the tournament so far!

Agreed. Very few flops, if any. Much respect to both of those teams. Hope there will be another game or two this world cup. Brazil vs Belgium could be crazy, although I am not looking forward to seeing Neymar flop around like a wimp though.
that Vertonghen goal woke them up, man. Martinez dodged a bullet. He would have been fried, because that would have been the end of this golden generation.
most of those players will be 30 in 4 years. They are all in their prime right now!
DO NOT EVER REST PLAYERS IN A GOD DAMN WORLD CUP IF THEY ARE NOT INJURED.
that brasil v belgium game is going to be lit as FOCKKKK.
Yeah tough to decide for me between this game and the Portugal v Spain opener with Ronaldo's last-minute free kick/hat trick heroics.
Feel for the Japanese guys though. Really wanted them to make it through.

Also, much respect to the referees in both games! They were excellent!

I was thinking earlier, “Japan really doesn’t flop. If they go down, they got hit.” I wish the rest of the world would take a queue from them.
Hope there will be another game or two like this one in this world cup.
This HAS to be the match of the World Cup so far.
My friend who is not a soccer fan at all is absolutely going wild. His comment to me was "Man, if every soccer match was like that 2nd half, it would by far be the most popular sport here"

I understand your point of view but 3 players (De Bruyne, Vertonghen and Alderweireld I think) were under the treath of a 3rd yellow card which would have meant missing this game. Hazard and Lukaku were slightly injured.
As much as I respect Kompany and how much he brought to our team, he was bad and slow and I'm afraid it will be even more obvious against Brazil. I hope Martinez won't be afraid to put him on the bench. And that he'll finally put Carasco where he would be: as far away from the field as possible. When you think that Radja Naingolan is at home...
Glad to see that they didn't panic and managed to come back eventhough that was 0-2. But man, that was not good for my heart !
Belgian athleticism is going to give Brazil a boat load of trouble.
