My mom has been trying to keep up with my running schedule because she couldn't run 100m as fast as she thought she could the other day...

Do you think someone that hasn't run in years and suddenly decides that they want to start running should run this much? Of course hers is way slower than mine but I'm just wondering what her odds of getting hurt are? I tried to talk some sense into her but when she makes up her mind to do something then that's usually what happens... I thought she'd go out and do a few sprints every day not 30 mpw.
