Women complain more as a norm so when people schedule them they work harder to not deal with it.
Men are more likely to be assertive and driven so they can gain promotions more frequently if they embrace that natural genetic trait.
If you want better scheduling become a whiny soyboy.
If you want to make something of yourself drive to be the best and get a better position and pay. Better scheduling should come with that anyway as there really aren't many leadership positions that don't work relatively set hours.

If a person is getting their job done, then time off and different schedules doesn't really matter. Plus, taking care of kids aren't the only reasons for which people take time off from work or have flexible schedules.
