At my summer practice (M-F) we run 5 miles everyday and then stretch/cool down. To hit my goal mileage is need to run atleast 7 miles a day, plus a 12 mile long run on Saturday. Would it benefit me to run another 2 miles on my own, even after we cooldown? And if it would, which option is better.
A) 5 miles at school practice, run another 2 miles about a half hour later, after cooling down and sitting in the car to get home (soonest I could do it)
OR
B) Run 5 miles at school practice (its in the morning), and then 2 in the evening.
