My prs for the last three years have been stagnant. So, I was thinking about running three times a day. So, 600 am run, noon run, 600 pm run. Each run for about a hour or two, for a total of 40-50 kilometres. Not everyday just 3 days a week, and double on all the other days. And, just one long run on Sunday. As 130-160 kilometres a week has not been working. So I think I need to increase my mileage even more. Because it works, look at Gerry Lindgren, Cam Levins and Toshihiko Seko. Sure I may shorten my career, but Yolo.
Here's my plan:
Sunday 2 hours usually over a hilly course for about 30 kilometres
Mon double for a total of 20-30 kilometres
Tues triple for a total of 40-50 kilometres
Wed am 60 min noon 60 min pm 20 x 400m, 1 min standing rest
Thurs triple or double
Friday double
Saturday am race or 20 x 1k fast/slow (fast around 2:50-3:00 min kilometer pace, slow around 3:30-3:45 kilometer pace)
Pm easy
