That's it. From now on I'm going to consider 60 degrees and rainy the ideal sprint conditions.
We are going to need some science on this. And I thought cold air was more dense.

I wonder if it's going to be one of the fastest times ever.
Quit talking out of yer sphincter, Dwight! Georgia has 10 more points in the high jump. You know, the event you're supposedly an expert about?
Ties Edwin Moses for #2 all time!!! There is special, then there is absolutely beyond f**king comprehension. Moses spent 7 years perfecting his race down to the exact inch to run that time. I hope Benjamin can keep this level of performances. 400m hurdles is extremely hard on the body and very very few athletes can handle hammering out 47s. World record by Tokyo if he stays healthy
Johnny Dutch south Carolina????
It is 4:10 am in Germany. (Visiting military son.) Florida needs to be 3rd or better in 4x4 to edge Georgia. Do I have that correct?
How can Saruni blame the loss on weather? Was he the only one running in the rain? Blaming your loss on the weather being cold is just ridiculous, take a look at your tactics and there's your answer. When you're 1.5 seconds faster than the next guy in the race you should be able to overcome a 60 degree day.
No, UGA has won it. Look at the high jump
I think Georgia has the team championship wrapped up. 6 points from Kendall Williams and 10 points from two guys in the high jump. That's 52 points. Pretty sure it's mathematically impossible for any other team to beat that, unless Florida's 6 points in the TJ were not scored yet.
Has the University of Texas been served the Death Penalty?
I have yet to see a Longhorn on the track in three days.
Has there ever been a program fall so hard?
Unreal.

You need glasses.
Colder air is more dense. Google it.
In tennis the ball traves faster in hot weather,
field events get more tricky, e.g. some events you want a bit of a headwind (lift etc)
I think the question is about rain, humidity , wet track.

No! Georgia wins! I missed their 3rd in the HJ.

No no no no!!! Dwight said UGA is done. He's the expert.
He's also astonished that the lane with the least curve produces good 200s. He and Montgomery make each other dumber, it seems.
I just talked to Penn State's Harris. He said he knew he could win. He said his workouts recently had been great and he knew he always is a good racer so he was confident.
He thought indoors he was caught off guard by Saruni's move and had to make too big of a move to respond to that so today he wanted to be more of an aggressor. So he moved on the backstretch and said he thought perhaps Saruni went too big himself trying to react to it - sort of a reverse of indoors.
He was thrilled that PennState got a win in the 800 as there had been some recent 2nds and they consider themselves "800 U".
Off camera, Harris talked about how he broke 1:50 for the first time in his last HS race and he wondered if he'd ever be able to go faster. He said xc season in college was pretty depressing as he'd get dropped all the time but once track came around, it was a different ball game.

Maybe the track surface is harder because it is colder? In combination with reduced air density from the humid air? And wet surface doesn't slow the sprints as much as it used to because the grip technology on spikes has improved so much?
Kicker's race in the 5000m? These are perfect distance racing conditions.
Alabama has three guys in the 5k, they can steal this meet?
Also,
While watching the hep 200 I was wondering, when are the moving women to the decathlon?
