I am going to propose a solutionm the goal of which is to allow transwomen /transgirls as much of an opportunity to participate in sports as is possible without compromising the rights and fairness to biological women.
For the regular season, transwomen /transgirls can compete in team competitions. Note: I think we can all see that this fosters a sense of inclusion and allows them all the good benefits of a team sport and healthy competition and exercise.
For post-season, if there is one (the regional and state qualifiers and anything thereafter), the transwomen /transgirls cannot compete. This will prevent someone with a more advantageous athletic characteristics unfairly dominate the ultimate placement.
But, in lieu (instead) of being able to compete at the post-season competitions, the transwomen /transgirls will be able to either enter a meet with other transwomen /transgirls, or do a statistical analysis to determine their placement. That statiscal analysis would be to take their 2 or 3 fastest times from the season and compare the average of those scores to that of other transwomen /transgirls. The avg. of the best 2 or 3 times wins. Again, if the region has enough participation and interest and resources to hold a final transwomen /transgirls competition, all the better!
I think this should be evaluated in legal courts first to ensure that no one's rights are being violated before a region were to try it.
I think this solution would be effective at still allowing transwomen /transgirls to have the full benefit of team sports but not unfairly disadvantage biological girls from competing at the highest level of their season.
