How lucrative is the potato biz?
And stop being such a metricist! The mile is a historical event. Don't like it? Too bad.
The potato is a gluten free and calorie rich root product developed by the technologically advanced Incas in South America. Hardy and easy to raise, its introduction to Europe (along with corn) caused a population explosion on a continent that had used up its farmland and destroyed its fisheries and wildlands with devastatingly bad agricultural practices.
Other things invented by the ingenious Inca include precise mortarless masonry able to withstand centuries of earthquakes with little to no apparent damage. Other Americans managed to breed grass into giant stalks of corn. They also invented turkeys, a giant bird superior to chickens.

The mile has been around a lot longer than you have, troll. I guess you think we should get rid of the marathon too. Btw there's a 1500m race as well, Cheruiyot should take advantage of the precious little time he has left to actually beat Ingebrigtsen.

I’ll start taking Ingebrigsten seriously when he beats Justus Soget and George Manangoi.
Ingebrigtsen is in this case Filip and Henrik.
Jakob run the 1500 meter which is also very competitive (Jakobs PB og 3:39 is only 11th best).
Sorry but that 1500m Field is anything but competitive.

You and Coevett are exactly the same, and equally as unlikeable. It's almost funny.

I have never accused an entire race of people of inherent dishonesty, claimed every single one of their athletes is on some sort of PED simply because of where they’re from and the colour of their skin or called for their countries to be banned from the Olympics for daring to defeat my home favourites. Yes, I do take offence at being compared to an unapologetic racist.
I happen to dislike the mile, two miles and other non metric distances. I’m not sure how my opinion warrants a comparison with such a character.

Here we go Bad, but the truth is quite the opposite the Incas were really well behind the Europeans. Hagia Sophia is directly on a fault line and it is three times the age of Machu Picchu. Europe is full of grand architecture that they couldn't match. Only the Chinese & East Asians were a match for Europeans at various points but none were advanced enough to create anything to match the Laocoön and His Sons masterpiece. And that's not me be mean or racist it is just the cold truth.

The 1500 is meant for a 500m track anyway. 3.75 laps is just as stupid as 1609m. The mile should continue to exist (and be run in the DL) as long as we use the 1500. If we one day switch to the only logical choice, 1600m, I’ll agree with you.
The two mile I agree with more, but it’s only run in places it has historical significance (US, UK) anyway.
It's great to see him working on the farm while still doing the training of an elite athlete. Working his body is a way of life, not just something he does a couple of hours per day for cash or a hobby.
"I guess you think we should get rid of the marathon too."
That makes no sense at all. The marathon is based on the distance from Marathon to Athens. It's not because 26 miles 385 yards is a logical distance for a race. Any more than 42.195km is.
If we wanted to go fully metric, I'd counter that 2k is a better distance than 1600. As is 1500 - where you start and finish on a long straight.

Lazy and played out.
Easy with the small-man syndrome El Keniano. Just ignore the trolls, it makes you look bad when you respond because you stoop to their level.

lol the only Kenyan "juniors" who can (possibly) beat JI are at least seven years older than him and loaded up with that sweet Italian dope. Nice attempt tho.

Well said. I feel exactly the same way.
Huh? Since when did this board become LetsAg or LetsAnthro?
Potatoes are a member of the nightshade family of poisonous plants.
Many people have died from storing potatoes in their houses.
Only when the skins and all green parts are removed, and then cooked are the potatoes not poisonous.
In the states, potatoes are laden with extremely toxic chemicals, which cannot be removed.
