LOL!
LOL!
Justice moves slowly, if at all, in these cases. At least Rekrunner is conceding the obvious an injured athlete at Aden’s training camp hotel had many doses of EPO ready. This was found in a raid authorized after Aden had been seen discarding needles in trash cans outside the hotel. Sure, it’s possible that this is all a coincidence but unlikely. It’s also possible but unlikely that EPO does not work on top athletes raised at altitude, etc

So what is the update?
- The prosecution is asking for 4.5 years of prison, which is apparently the maximum
- The trial hasn't even started ?!??!?
For being caught red-handed, this sure is taking a long time...
This is normal in spain. The judiciary is poorly funded and understaffed and cases take a long time to be processed. The corruption case that beought the government down this week was a decade old.

They must have been in Aden's training camp to study his advanced training techniques, nothing more than that of course.
Probably to be PC, instead of being honest and showing filthy cheats from E. Africa. lol
I conceded two years ago that Balla and Mounir were found with EPO in their room.

Probably followed by 18 pages of posts where you justify them having this EPO with any reason you can think of besides them using it to enhance their performance (of course it doesn't work, anyway).

It was for their ailing siblings, parents and grandparents.
Nothing to see here! That's why the IAAF did not act.
Most probably not. I surely never justified "them" having EPO for any reason. I can't think of any valid reason now short of extreme medical need in a hospital.

Outside of banning Balla and Mounir for possession, what action can the IAAF take, if all the athletes tested negative?

They were in fact attending a course on advanced stopwatch using techniques. You have to remember that stopwatches have come a long way since the Seiko digital watches of the 70s and today they have a myriad of functions such as lap memories, ghost pacing, and multiple countdown timers to name a few. To keep up to speed with these changes in technology some British coaches have flown to Africa to attend training courses on stopwatch function given by world-class stopwatch holder Jama Aden who in fact used a high-end stopwatch to time Farah in some of his workouts.
Be patient. It's coming.
That occurred in Sabadell...er, Font Romeu...

2 years later, Aden still had not gone to Trial and no athletes have been sanctioned because of the raid.
El Pais in Spain has an update and says while a trial date has still not been set, Aden could get 4.5 years in prison and be banned from coaching.
Summing up, no one has been charged, because nothing was found.
However, breaking news, if something had been found, and if they had been charged, and if there had been a trial and they had been convicted, then they could get 4.5 years in prison.
On to other news, if the Brojos had been convicted of shooting President Lincoln, they could also end up in prison.
Huh? 19 preloaded syringes of epo and anabolic steroids have been noted as being found multiple times. Aden's passport was held >month in Spain. He was followed multiple times throughout the city, throwing away used needles and syringes. Are you just trolling? Being obtuse to pass the day? Or do you really honestly believe what you've written?
Lock him up and also lock up those crooked agents who are ruining our sport. CANOVA ADEN ROSA they are filthy scumbags.

You misspelled Hermens.

Ban them all for four years each, for being part of a doping conspiracy.
Offer a reduction to two years to those who admit to doping; and a reduction to one year to those who really start talking about everyone involved.

I'd Aden goes to trial, don't be shocked if he comes clean on ALL the goods for a lesser sentence. It goes so much deeper.
if it goes too deep, the IAAF will step in and make sure it doesn't come out...
Good to see your change in attitude. I am not sure why you are air quoting “them.”

Nothing has changed -- I never justified athletes, or coaches, possessing or taking WADA banned substances against WADA rules.

Without basis, it wouldn't survive CAS. There would be no ban, no plea bargain, and therefore no reduced bans for cooperation. One reason it seems to be taking so much longer, is it's being tied up in the criminal courts -- which requires evidence to meet an even higher standard.
