Many teams claim to tempo as the season progresses but that my friends was a tempo.
RPI KNOWS TEMPO

I'm strapping heart rate monitors on every team from here on to ensure no one surpasses tempo effort at any point this season

Lots of teams headed to Rochester's race this weekend. Will everyone "tempo" aka race? Could there be some surprises/upsets in the region?? Will IGC be there???
The O'Connor Twins did not race this weekend at Siena's home meet. I think the only logical reasoning is that they are still in Ireland with Albert O'Salazar.
Rowan, RIT, TCNJ, Ramapo, Vassar will be at Rowan this weekend. Is Rowan or GVP really the place to be?
Discus.

We are going to Rowan as well. NYU for the win!
GVP is the place to be.... Why would anyone pay attention to the meet that has the back half of the region. The only reason someone would spectate Rowan, is because TCNJ is known to always throw great keggers.

The map of the course looks horrible. Why do we keep letting NJ host?
Geneseo v RPI. Rochester > Rowan. Enough said.

Forget the course, the whole state looks horrible. America's armpit. I question the sanity of anyone who wants to live there.
True. That Philly area is the Florida of the Northeast. The presence of industry keeps me trapped here indefinitely. I'm like Sisyphus rolling the boulder up the hill, as soon as I think I've raised the capital to escape I get the living sh*t taxed out of me.
I'll be there and will have a new+improved tier list for y'all afterwards. I'm confident that I will be able to predict who gets 10th at regionals come November.

GVP will be a guaranteed tempo-fest. Geneseo Men always tempo their top guys at the first real meet of the season (sorry Oswego, but you're less legitimate than a high school). RPI, not to be outdone, will be easy-running the race, which for Grant will be a light 4:40 per mile. Brockport boys are doing a tempo, but theirs will be with rest I believe because let's face it Geneseo is objectively better. The only team that will be racing all out will be RIT, but RIT is trash so it'll basically be tempo pace anyways.
Look for Rowan to be the only real meet in the region. This is TCNJ's year, baby!

Because 4 2k loops in GVP or running up one side of a paved driveway and back down the other at Letchworth is definitely the epitome of a XC course.

I really hope everyone was tempoing, because otherwise this may be a historically weak year for the region.
The Rowan course was pretty bad footing, lots of tight turns. Not a fast course at all, don't know how they got regionals...

Well maybe if someone in NY would have sacked up and hosted we wouldn't have to be exposed to whatever pollutant poisons that dirty Jersey air.

St Lawrence put a bid in and only found out they didn’t get it when Rowan was announced as the site. It’s because the regional rep is from NJ.

I'd say I smell a scandal but I don't. I smell New Jersey. And it stinks.
