On average, people from the middle of the country seem to get married younger than those from the coasts. Being in a coastal city, I have noticed that the people who grew up on the middle of the country and came here seem to get married younger than those who grew up in bigger metropolitan areas. I'm sure religion plays some role in this, but a lot of these people aren't all that religious too and it still seems to hold. Any reason why this is?
