Running form help

    Hello! I have had a lot of trouble with my running form and I am trying to figure out how to fix it. I recently ran a half marathon and have never ran above 11 miles before (on a long run) so of course I was not gonna run my best and the wind was 20 mph on the last 6.5 so that slowed me and I crossed the line at 1:29:18.

    If you scroll down the link, around 18 seconds in you can see my running. It is really bad and my arms kind of flail from side to side. I did this the whole race and notice I do it all the time. What is the best way to fix this? I have no arm strength so could that be a reason.

    With running or with life in general we must remind ourselves to be mindfully aware of ourselves and our surroundings. With each breath bring awareness to your stance, stride, and body movements until you achieve master sensei powers.

    You're 15 years old. You'll be fine. Work on your form on your training runs and eventually your form will change. There's no magic pill to fix your form. Most Kenyans are skinnier than you, so I doubt arm strength is an issue. You're still growing, for one. Just work on proper form and eventually it will take. A 15 year old running 1:29 is nothing to be ashamed of.
