3 hour marathoner, about 50ish miles a week, looking to do more and go sub-3 in the future. Mid-30s, male.
I get up early and do most of my runs first thing, no food.
Breakfast: coffee, 5 scrambled eggs w/ cheese, toasted ezekial bread w/ peanut butter, fruit (usually berries, sometimes banana)
Snack: almonds and cashews, banana
Lunch: chicken (or leftovers from dinner), veggies (leftover from diner), nuts
Dinner: a couple beers or glasses of wine first, then meat (beef, fish, chicken, pork) with lots and lots of veggies (carrots, broccoli, asparagus, brussel sprouts, kale, etc.) and some kind of carb (usually potatoes or rice, sometimes sweet potatoes).
Dessert: dark chocolate and/or ice cream
Once or twice a week dinner will be going out or ordering in. Pizza, burgers, Mexican, whatever.
