Disclaimer: I'm an old guy who never really cared about trendy attire. (Well, maybe for a brief period in the 80s...but I never wore parachute pants!) I dress neatly but conservatively, and I'm comfortable.
What I find to be particularly ridiculous is the notion that "form fitting" shirts and "skinny" pants look good. Seriously, what looks good about wearing a shirt so tapered that the buttons on the front are practically pulling apart? And no dude should be wearing skin tight pants unless he's a cyclist on a training ride.
Most people will write off my opinion as being the out-of-touch rant of an old man, but the reality is that fashion designers have simply played a bunch of idiots into thinking that looking bad looks good.
