I’m sorry you are experiencing this, but you are not alone as there was a long thread on this topic not too long ago. In my 20’s, I would get them a week or so out from my period...usually in the middle of a run, miles from home. I would curl up in the fetal position on the side of the road until they subsided. Just awful. The key is to take 2 Advil an hour or two (with light food) before your run and it will hold off the cramps. Not every run....track your cycle and get to know when it’s most likely to happen. If you pay attention, you will know “ it’s going to be one of those days” and take Advil. Try to limit Advil to 4 pills a month as too much Advil can harm you. See your gynecologist and explain your cramping issues. It gets better as you get older!
