Hi guys, I run 800/1600m and do a weekly sprint workout as I think top speed is crucial for these events.
2 weeks ago I did a 5x50m session all out each rep with full recovery and on one of them I timed myself at 6.45 which was very good news for me since it indicated I had made substantial improvements and on top of that I felt like I had a tiny bit more to give on that rep (last time I did a 100m time trial and ran a pb of 12.9 I had run 6.56 right before as a practice sprint)
This week I did the same session and split 6.6 as the fastest although there was considerable headwind, is this normal, something I can attribute to maybe feeling more fatigued than last time without knowing it or just having a slightly off-day? Would really appreciate any help, and I know I'm slow lol
