Oh, my. Just looked at results. It appears they needed a rabbit as well with a winning time of 15:55.
This event was a farce. Great athletes put together without a structurd game plan. Poor event management.
I'd guess she peeled off to the inside just before 1k. 600m would be ridiculous...
She should have run the 5000 meters.
