To be fair he lead for a good bit of that last km, toasted is an exaggeration.
The video however got me thinking about Conseslus Kipruto in the flat events. We're talking about a guy who can probably run 7:55 (ran 8:00-8:04 a bunch of times celebrating and closing furiously) and then gets dusted in 3000m flat races in the circuit. Didn't even finish his 5000m in Shanghai yesterday.

To answer the original question: I think Kejelcha can at least produce a time similar to El Guerrouj in the 3000m, he closed a 7:27 very fast last year. Kwemoi surprised me early season but he's inconsistent.
