Sub 6:00: Good catch on the name. Enjoyed the "more beard than man" line. Hope you get the glitches ironed out this week.
RRR: Supertough. Wouldn't it be wild if that straightened out your back issues? You would have earned it for sure.
Consistency: It sounds to me like you ran a really smart race, especially for a debut marathon. Just to add to what others have said, I think doing some of your long runs progressively or with a fast finish can help to build strength for those last few miles.
OR: Don't know if I've had a chance to say this yet, but congrats on the PR - and a big course PR, right? Not quite what you were hoping for, I know, but still a significant step.
Allen: Strong week there. The progression in that 3 x 2 workout looks really good.
Smoove: Good to see the recovery progressing.
AJ: Impromptu fartleks sound like a good sign that you're getting a little pop back post-marathon.
DB: Way to go for it in that 10k. Hope the knee is holding up for you.
PM: Way to jump into the 10k, sounds like it was a solid effort.
R4F: Enjoy the upcoming races.
Still improving: I've always had a hard time combining biking with running myself. Good to hear things were sorting themselves out by the weekend.
James: Enjoy the new trail!
Jewbacca: That was an outstanding performance in the marathon. The rest was well-earned.
above average joe: Good strong week there.
pewow: Hope the calf and hamstring calm down for you.
Coach Jeff: Good to hear the knee pain went away (and stayed away). The idea of the station disappearing is like something out of Murakami.
Epimetheus: Another big training week. A little recovery will help you feel the benefit. What are you training for, out of curiosity?
Hans: Like you, I've stumbled into the habit of doing very short, very easy jogs on a fairly regular basis. I've been finding them quite helpful for recovery.
hantph: Well done with that 5k!
