Does the success of the LetsRun web site have much to do with its news content, or is its popularity almost exclusively driven by the Message Board?
Personally, I'd say it's all about the message board. Like most of the gutless posters on this forum, I enjoy participating in thread discussions/rants/etc. under the cowardly umbrella of anonymity. I'm ashamed, but not too proud, to admit it.
While I will go to the home page on the rare occasions when I can't find race information elsewhere, it usually is not worth the effort to wade through the messy, cluttered format. And I certainly don't come here to read poorly written "reporting" (I mean, seriously, the writing is absolutely horrendous).
