Hello everyone
So on Sunday I am racing a 5k on the track planning to run under 16min. How should my last 2 days leading up to the race look like? On today's run I didn't really felt recovered, maybe because the the last few weeks were really hard. Workouts in the last 10 days where:
5x400m+5x300m+5x200m
30km long run in 2h
1600m+3x 200m /1200m +3x 200m /1000m+3x 200m /800m
Special Block last sunday:
Am:5km in 16:20
Pm: 12x30secs hills
So the last 2 days where just easy running but ran around 13-14 miles each. Should I do a little workout on Thursday o get my legs ready for Saturday even if I feel unrecovered? Any tips for recovery but getting ready to race at the same time?
