I'm currently in the middle of one of the Hanson's training plans looking to go sub 3. Hitting all my workouts, 70+ weekly mileage and feeling strong, but it will be close on race day. I'll finish the plan on July 7th. My question is: should I sign-up for a July marathon and if so, which one? Or postpone until the fall when the temperature drops? What's the best way to maintain conditioning over those 3 summer months if I postpone? Or just do one in July and sign-up for a fall one if I blow up? Thanks!
