Yes?
Yes?
No! I would surprised if anyone - who knows anything about soccer.- would put Beckham in the top 100 ( 500? ) .
He was an icon that helped make the game more popular (especially in America) but he definitely isn't the best.
He’s only recorded to be the 25th best player Manchester United ever had, never mind the greatest payer of all time.
No. No he is not.
No, right now I would say hands down Johan Cryuff is the GOAT of the beautiful game. While Pele did win three world cups, he played in a really weak domestic league and Maradonna was a bit of an ass, he scored the hand of god goal and snorted crack.
I will say that in a couple years time it'll either be Messi or Ronaldo who will become the GOAT, however, both of them are still playing so it remains to be seen.
With Manchester United and Real Madrid, Beckham wasn't even the best player on his team, let alone greatest ever.
Is he even the best footballer called Beckham?
No!!! Not even close... You really are funny to think that Beckham is the greatest... ROTFLMAO, literally!!! ???
For female fans who don't watch soccer, the answer is yes. He may be the top player
He is the one player who can get them glued to the TV screen.
As a humanitarian, thoughtful person, he is in the top 100.
And it is this reason why he is one of my favorite players.
As a dead ball specialist, he is certainly in the top 25 ever
As a crosser, he is in the top 10 best crossers of all time.
As a whole however he is not in the Top 100. I would say he is somewhere between 100 and 200

Well, there is the fact that more young people around me (including girls) know about Beckham than any other athlete. He had a big movie named after him after all! Not sure how it is outside the USA but ask them who Cruyff, Pele, Maradona, or whatever is and they will have no idea. He is a superstar unlike the others.

There is a lot of world outside the US!
It might surprise you, but the top soccer players are known by more people world-wide than any US sports star.
Only Muhammed Ali, could come anywhere near the world-wide fame of the soccer legends.

Beckham may have had his name in the title, but the film as I recall was about an Indian girl in London playing football - indeed she could have well been the star in a team the calibre of the USA team that was beaten by tiny Trinidad and Tobago in this year’s World Cup qualification round.
I don't know about that, but his sons sure are hot.
No way was he the best ever, but he was really freaking good.
World class when he was at his peak, and probably ended up underrated as an athlete because people focused so much on his celebrity. Finished runner up for the 1999 Ballon d'Or (given to the best player in the world). Dude was no slouch. From 99-06 he was probably one of the 15-20 best players in the world every year.
