I ran 3:24:11 Monday and 3:21 and change at Myrtle, so say three minutes slower. I am not sure I can run a Monday midday start race on rolling terrain any faster to be honest!

I qualified in Boston in 2017 with a 2:59 high and ran 2:51 high this year, though I felt like I was more in 2:40-2:45 shape based on a pretty steady block of mileage and training. What I've come to realize is that some people are just better suited for certain courses and conditions. As a Floridian, a cold and wet windy 40 degree day is definitely not my cup of tea. Monday felt more like a test of will than an actual road race.
That is a solid effort given where you are from and the conditions we had. I've run Boston twice, both times with a 12,000 something bib and an overall finish around 6,000. I know 10% of the entrants don't toe the line, but that seems like a lot of people to pass.
I qualified with 2:59:30 but goal was 2:52-2:53. Ended up running a 2:57:58, which I am very satisfied with considering the conditions.
Were you feezing during/after or were you ok? I am 6'4" & 205 pounds and I think the weather we had hurts me a lot less.
Qualified with 2:40 (in 2016, good for last 2 years). Thought I might be in 2:45-2:47 shape for Boston. Went through the half on schedule, but tightened up around Newton Lower Falls and just tried to survive the back half and get straight to shelter (local hotel, no gear check). Ran low-2:50s each of the last two years in warm conditions and probably would have preferred that.
Should have probably noted that I had a 12-min positive split and finished in 2:56.
Coming off the hills it dawned on me that my quads weren't screaming at me like last time - because they were numb! I actually think numb is better than trashed (which is what they are now). I have to be the slowest LetsRun poster in the world, yo!
i was 26 minutes slower than my BQ race... but about what i expected.
little bit bigger positive split thanks to the wind in the late miles
over-dressed and ran very conservatively. all i wanted to do was requalify... and i got a BQ-6:00
personally i like the late start.
i liked the old noon start... except on warm days : )

my quads were about the only thing that felt cold on me.. my short tights were totally soaked and i wasn't running hard enough to generate a lot of heat
i couldn't tell if is was a neuro/muscle-numbness or the cold...
one quad cramped a bit after the finish line.
but like you, they didn't feel trashed and weren't burning (been there on the 'cemetery hill' coming down from BC before.. it can get ugly )
i was about 25 minutes slower. For me though, from mile one it was all about getting to the finish line. But i truly think i was going as fast as i could go at the given time
2:58 to qualify, 3:12 finish - but in between ran 1:18 half and had a great training block so was in at least low 2:50s shape
weather, it happens
Qualified w/a 3:02 last Boston & tacked on an extra 51 minutes (3:53) on Monday. Training was similar thru both; I seriously underdressed for the cold. Went hypothermic (light-headed, stumbled some, vision got wonky and the road started GLOWING on me?)... stopped for 30 min at a med tent at mile 23 or 24. Shuffled the last two miles.
Was fine running a 3:05 pace til I wasn’t.
2:50:58 to qualify (PR'ed), ran it in 2:49:32 (new PR). Happy to have PR'ed but I think I'm in 2:44-2:45 shape on a flat course w good weather, so kind of a wash.
Qualified with 3:09; ran 3:12 on Monday. Thought I was in 3:05 shape or better, based on a non-tapered 85 minute half.

Similar metrics here;
Qualified with a 2:56
Ran a 2:59 on Monday so BQ+3
Thought I was in sub 2:55 or so shape ie ran GMP-5
I initially qualified with a 3:09.. improved it to 2:52.. then ran a 2:54 on Monday. I thought I might have been in shape for a 2:45-2:50 in better conditions but I was not ready for the terrible weather and got hypothermic (I train in Southern California).
Qualified with a 2:44 at CIM, and then ran 2:44 at Boston. Even splits in both of them.
Thought I was in shape for 2:38-2:39. Adjusted for the conditions and had set a 2:50 goal. Tried to run by effort/feel and ended up being much faster than I had planned. Really happy with what I was able to put together in those conditions. Hope I'm knocking on the door of a sub-2:40. Running Chicago in the fall.
Qualified with 2:54, later improved to 2:47. Ran 3:18. It was a bit of poor training (two jobs), oncoming injury, and bad pacing. 2 years later ran 3:08 while in worse shape - just ran smarter.

Dude, come on - You ran 2:51 hoping for 2:40-45? They're ALL tests of wills rather than ACTUAL road races as far as you're concerned...
