I have a 2003 Toyota Camry with about 181,000 miles on it. The head gasket is leaking both oil and coolant. I know this is bad and no longer have smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe. I was in and out of a shop until we pinpointed the leak as there was coolant leaking in a different spot now sealed. My engine has overheated stranding me in the middle of a busy intersection and im worried about other damages that might have been caused as the car was driven for about a month with these issues. Its $1200 for me to fix only the head gasket. Im looking for advice on if it should be fixed, what other issues may be wrong, or simply buy a new car. I am considering fixing the car and bringing to a dealership to trade in aswell but know what other problems might have been caused by this issue. Any information will help, thank you!
