I want to use the Cleveland Marathon as a fall back race and I find it described in several sources as a flat and fast course but the stats on MapMyRun show about 1100 feet of climb on the course which is almost as difficult as the courses in Pittsburgh and Cincy.
I last ran the Cleveland race about 12 years ago and the course has been changed several times since then. I recall thinking that the course at that time was tougher than advertised, though not brutal.
I'd appreciate any opinions and comparisons from folks who have run Cleveland in the last year or two regarding the course and organization.
