So later today is going to be my first real attempt at the mile. As you can see from my PRs, I haven't raced it in a while, but I feel I'm in sub-4:50 shape. The question is how far under 4:50. Is it a good idea to go out in 2:20 and see what I can come back in? I'm usually an even-negative splitter, so it's a change for me.
