Sarah Sellers and Yuki Karaoke wore normal stuff at Boston, arm warmers, right? Pretty much what Sage wore, and he dropped out, freezing. Desi nailed what to wear, IMO, but so did Rupp, IMO, and Rupp epic failed.
I know there this other thread talking about how only cyclists know how to dress for the cold and wet, but I want to know how it is that some people looked like it was 65 and sun and survived, while others looked like they were looking for a book to rip pages out of 46 hours in, and didn't make it. It's not just body type. Was it simply who was better prepared to stand around a couple hours in the cold before the start, or those who knew to take in more calories?
