As we all know, Jordan dropped out of Boston the night before citing a stress reaction in her heel stemming from her plantar injury several weeks before (or at least a missed diagnosis). While it seemed weird that she didn't miss any workouts from her injury and to say all week during interviews that she was fine, it's certainly plausible that the MRI came back and they said they rather not cause long-term issues by racing Monday and just start the time off now. I'm sure she missed out on some of her appearance money but again, gotta think long-term at 26 years old.
Here's where the conspiracy starts. For a stress reaction in the foot/heel the standard treatment is at least a walking boot or some type of unloading device to allow the bone to heal. On Monday after the race, I saw Jordan at a restaurant walking up and down the stairs (there was an elevator to the bathroom) with normal running shoes on, no boot.
My question is, with Salazar's ongoing investigation and history of pushing the ethical (and even legal) limits, was Jordan about to get "popped" for a doping violation if she toed the line on Monday?
