Yuki is limited by his inherent lack of basic speed on the track.
He would be very pushed to run sub. 29.00 on the track.
Yuki is basically a pure road runner.
He has good leg turnover on the road and strong quads, but his basic speed or lack thereof cannot be changed.

Disagree. He has run a 62 min half marathon, which is 29:20 per 10k. He ran 20km race in roughly same time. He could pretty easily break 29 and probably hit 28:30.
March 24th he ran:
4:40pm: 5000m Heat 4 (1st, 14:53.95)
5:20pm: 5000m Heat 6 (2nd, 14:36.98)
6:00pm: 5000m Heat 8 (8th, 14:37.78)
Hasn't run a 10k this year yet.
Has a 30k or a bit under 90 min, so I would guess around 28 min.
28:30
