Desi is the one on the way out of Hansons now that she despises them for choosing to take on Ritz. She already wasn't training there and from her interview she even said she doesn't want to associate herself with people in question.
Seems like a lot of bad blood:

The club's new Face? Desi? Ummh,,, for the longest time, she has been the only recognizable face of Brooks/Hanson's.

+1
I think Desi was right to speak her mind. I also think Dathan was right to congratulate her, and certainly shows a good attitude by doing so. The complexity of our world is such that sometimes two good people can be on opposite sides of a situation. It is unfortunate that many who post here want to cast the world in simplistic dichotomy when, in reality, things are often more complicated. One would think that running aficionados would have a better appreciation for the flux of reality.
Did anyone realize that the Hansons were nowhere to be seen at the finish line area after the race with Desi to celebrate/congratulate with her???
Desi will leave now. She doesn't need them and stayed because she is very loyal person I guess . She has money and enough sponsorship hopefully to move on
They were out on the course cheering for Desi as well as 3rd place male Finisher Shadrack Biwott and 11th place female Finisher Dot McMahan. They are delighted Desi incredible victory as well as Shadrack's and Dot's races.

Hansons have been taking runners to Boston since 2002. I know because I was a part of things. They have never been at the finish line.
They have always been out on the course. They see us in 4 or 5 spots. It is ridiculous how they get around and have many stories that go along with it.
They have said that the finish line is for Family and you can't coach from the finish line. I promise you they saw Desi out on the course.

Kevin Hansen describes in some detail how he watched Desi on the course from several points in his letsrun interview.
K & K are honest fans of the sport. Nobody enjoys what they do more. It's silly when this board tries to create controversy.

As sane a post as I have seen on this site in many a year: thank you.

Breaking news! Desi is apparently joining the NOP! Bet she’ll break the record after training with Al Sal!
It's not about casting the entire world in a "simplistic dichotomy." Of course things can be straightened out. But it takes two. Ritz has done his part, and Desi hasn't; she would need to publicly amend what she said. It's a little like the Flanagan-Hasay tiff, but they aren't teammates; Flanagan questioned Hasay's Boston result and Hasay later responded by congratulating her on her NYC win. Maybe Ritz is fully open to mending things, but from an outsider's perspective it seems like it would be impossible for the team to function well if Desi continues to undermine the accomplishments of her teammate.

Flanagan, when asked about the Chicago performances, said that it is hard to get excited about results from a program under investigation. Why should she apologize for that?

And why should Desi have to apologize? She's let it be well known with her stance on clean sport, and she's right that if she were to associate herself with someone with a questionable past that it would make here a hypocrite. Good for her for putting her foot down on what she believes in.

That's because her agent was dry humping her while her husband was trying to give her a hug.
It was rather awkward and I'm sure the Hanson's were saying to themselves, "we should let those three share their moment together" and left.
