Im a 27year old male weighing about 80kg. I've been training aerobic training my entire life (cross country skiing, biking, running etc). I recently bought a Garmin Forerunner 235 and I have a couple of questions.
I seem to have a very high heart rate when running and always end up at TE5.0, even at low paces compared to the ones I am training with.
I dont believe it to be because I´m out of shape. For example did a 20km run last week with a 4,55 average pace and during this run I was able to hold small conversations (not out of breath), but my HR was about 180BPM throughout the rum.
Even for shorter runs at about 6km with a pace 5,30min/km I end up at training effect 5.0 and an average HR at 177.
I am starting to wonder if its not good for me to run at high heart rates at every run?
Anyone have any experience with this?
