Looks like the original boots on the ground Asher Delmott is running.

Was this ever confirmed?
Editor's note: Yes, Rupp repeatedly got new hats in Rio:

new hats and chilled hats are different haha
Professionals should be prepared to race in any conditions (see Hawkins). Get on with it.

Anyone have a stream for outside NE in the US?
I'm blacked out on the links and Sling TV doesn't have coverage from what I see.
Any links would be great, thanks!
If you have Sling you can watch on NBC sports app.
Just off phone with Sling, can't do it.
Anyone else get BBC or Olympic to work?
As someone who frequently runs the median of Commonwealth from about mile 17 up to BC res, I've never once felt like I've had a consistent head/tailwind on an out and back. Seems like it always falls into a weird zone of winds coming out of the west switching at some point along the way and running straight into the wind coming out of the east from the Ocean.
Or, I just always feel like I'm running into the wind because I'm not fit.

Ok, then you'll change handles when he proves you wrong. Post your real name or you're another anonymous coward.

You have a point. Rupp is attuned to the desert and year-round triple digit heat of the Willamette Valley of Portland and Eugene. When that cold and rain hits him, he will never get the same olympic bronze or silver you have. Rupp is also in the worst shape of his life right now...
Is it possible for the tards to take a break and join common sense?

Not running today obviously but live in the area and this weather absolutely sucks haha, one of the very few years where I'm not running and not feeling like I'm missing anything
Same here. I'm in Western Mass and woke up to the sound of plows clearing an inch of snow/sleet from the roads. I'm out of shape this year and didn't register... this might be the first year I'm not sad I'm not running. Happy to be drinking coffee and watching it on TV.
Pretty much the worst conditions for running. Miserable
Today does make me miss running in general though, will be having my third illiotibial band surgery middle of next week, got to give a lot of credit to people finishing today
Pretty easy to predict the africans aren't going to do great in this weather. Americans are going to do great. Huge chance we have at least one american winner, I'm also predicting two American women in the top 4, 3 in the top 6.
I'd say the chance of an American sweep is even greater, on the level of 50%.
Men's winner is 2:14:17 and women's is 2:29:54.

The irony of anon user calling anon suer coward. Coward.
Eye watering irony.
Galen DNF all day long.
Mighty African winner.

One way or the other, this is going to be the post that people will be talking about after the race.
I'm guessing whoever is most motivated by the prize money will win today.
Any 1 got BBC coverage yet?
I do feel like this is the type of weather where Ryan Hall would be on his A game
