Glad you're spending time on the important things like this and not moderating a thread where people are openly mocking disabled athletes or making jokes about people "blowing up." Good christ, this website is garbage..
Your friends must appreciate your sense of humor.
Oh, wait...
lol USA DEVASTATED

Cool! Thank you
As much as I want to hate on Rupp for wearing all those clothes and stuff... he'll feel great when he loses it at the end of the race. He'll feel like he lost a pound. Maybe that'll give him a mental boost. I've done that in workouts and it works. Psychologically it helps. It's like swinging a bat with a weight before you step to the plate.
looks like the lead men are going to pass Deena Kastor in 10-15 minutes?
Who is in the men's lead group, and how far are the chasers? Who looks the easiest?

I've got a friend who has been trying to break 3 for half a dozen 'thons now, missing it by a minute
of all the races, she is actually on pace today through the first hour at least
she pulls this off, gonna be epic, dang it looks so nasty out there
I wonder if you are running in the middle of a pack if the weather barely affects you, somehow still getting the cooling effect but protected from wind?
No one cares.
Rookie LR mistake, you said the 't word.
They're saying women are + 27 seconds from leader.

I'm glad someone on here gets it.
cheers.
Women's notes:
20K: 1:15:44
HALF: 1:19:41. Daska now starting to push and has a gap of about 30 meters. Daska’s lead now up to about 60 meters during mile 14. It is now POURING. Winds up to 25mph in Boston.
Mile 14: 5:37 (1:24:38) Daska has a very big lead now at 14 miles (80-90m). Chase pack is eight women -- Huddle, Kiplagat, Flanagan among them.
Mile 15: 6:05 (1:30:42) Linden now making a surge, starting to gain some separation from chase pack. She is making a long push. They’re trying to close the gap gradually but it’s still Daska well out in front.
Kiplagat and Linden and one other breaking away from chasers and going after Daska. Lead was as big as 30 seconds but now it’s down to 18.
Mile 16: 5:45 (1:36:27) Chesir, Linden and Kiplagat, are the three trying to run down Daska. They are separating from the rest of the pack.
Men
Mile 13: 5:04 (65:22)
HALF: 1:05:59 (2:11:59 pace)
Mile 14: 5:21 (1:10:43)
Men ran the first 14 miles nearly 14 minutes faster than the women!!! 13:55. IT's going to screw up the tv coverage so bad as they will finish within minutes of each other.
The men need to start first and one race should finish when the other is at the halfway point. I'd have the wheelchair racers do a different course at the start so you can start them and not worry about them getting run over.

Why would Shalane ask Desi to wait for her? I don't get it...
Cmon man... its common knowledge that women go to the bathroom in groups
+1 Dudecmon
Anyone following Sage's splits? He is closing in on the lead group. Holy crap!
Thank you!!
Are these commentators for real? "Desisa showed he was in good shape at Breaking 2". ? Seriously, just be quiet.
Love how they close off side streets with schoolbuses

So, two bathroom breaks separate Daska vs everyone else?
GUESS WHO'S BACK?!?!
Lol oh, were you trying to dispute that this website is absolute trash? Or just saying I have no friends? Or are you just good with the casual racism, sexism, general bigotry that normal humans have to tolerate in order to follow a race on this website...?
Linden is rocking it. Can everyone aplogize to her.
People were made we called it the "Fantastic Four". If she wins this, it's unreal.
