Huddle doing the work bringing the pack back to Daska
Huddle please stop leading the chase pack!
My bad - Daska- she is bouncing
oh wait, he has a 1:02 half, he's definitely going to be leading for awhile
interesting gamble, little to lose
It's like a NASCAR race at Daytona. Stay in the draft, ladies! LOL
Rupp looks like a total badass! Exciting to see someone bring some street cred to the 'thon. Expect a new generation of young runners to be inspired by this

Huddle just fully submerged both feet in a puddle...
2018 Split 2016 Split (2:29:19)
1 6:24 6:05
2 6:06 5:47
3 6:09 (19:17 5k) 5:53
4 5:51 5:38
5 5:48 (30:17) 5:54 (29:17)
Women were a minute slower at 5 miles than in 2016
Why does everyone crap on Rupp for drafting in a marathon. Did you see the women? They were in a single file line of 15 people
why is the Ethiopian woman run by the selves in the front when it is cold and rain? she could have just tack in the middle like everyone else and wait until the last 10km?
da f is kawauchi doing?

The youth of America actually like that stooge?
Rupp hat change alert.
15:01 at 5k...yawn.
Lol Kawauchi
I've never seen competitive runners dressed so warmly for a race. Except KAwauchi of course
I am not worried about Kawauchi. He has run enough marathons that he knows what his body is doing. I have every confidence that he will put up a good showing.
He will settle in to his pace just fine.
Desi and Shalane having a prolonged conversation like they are out in a recovery run
Kawauchi has nothing to gain from hitting hard from the get-go. He has everything to gain from staying with the pack, letting somebody break wind, hanging with what was sure to be a slow pace--and THEN, at a moment of his choosing, getting nasty.
Good to see him feeling good, though.
