All the witnesses seem not to know that tresspassing is a wrong.
The "right" I am referring to is the cops' right to arrest, if they had it.
There is no way the guys were "aware" of the relevant provisions of the criminal statute.
Further, it has not been established by any means whatsoever that there was racial bias on the part of the manager.
Tarbucks doesn't actively encourage "loitering", but it does provide a comfortable place for its customers to remain for extended periods of time. Loitering is what non-customers do when they hang around. Tarbucks does not actively encourage non-customers to use its premises.
Having said that, "plenty of folk", of whatever race, hang around Tarbucks, whether they are customers or not.
Once you have seen some of the Tarbucks in a place like Paris, this episode becomes incomprehensible and laughable. In Paris, dozens, and I have seen maybe close to 100, students pack into those places. Maybe a few of them buy something, but the rest are there to hang out. There are so many people in those places that nobody needs the washroom code, because there is a continuous stream of people going in and out, and you go in before the door has closed. In fact it is a courtesy among people to hold the door open for others.
Of course, none of that matters in this situation.
I am on neither side, because we just don't have enough facts to make any kind of an intelligent determination, nor can we rely on the guys, on the cops, on the employees, or on the DA to have made an intelligent determination.
Maybe somebody will post a link to more verified facts about the incident.
I have not heard anyone under the age of 60 use the word "Negro" in a long time.
(Many Starbucks have a bathroom code for the door thus they had to ask).

Very strange, given that Starbucks' bathrooms are used constantly by non-customers. As for not ordering before the third person came, that is totally conventional, because it is rude to get your drinks before the other people show up, especially at a meeting at a coffee shop.
So Emily Post is at fault...
I am in a Starbucks almost every Sunday (post run coffee debrief) and have noticed a pretty dramatic change in the furniture. Far fewer comfy seats than 2 years ago.
I think the 15 minutes is a pretty quick trigger on calling the cops. Maybe they were the 20th people who had been in that week and just sat. I have no idea.
What I really like is the over-reaction of the CEO. One manager makes a poor decision and the entire company has to undergo "re-education"?
Onlything worse than being Black in USA, is black + conservative.
My wife was once asked to leave a shoe store. She literally had no idea why. She left the store and told me when she got home. I went to the store and asked why she was asked to leave. The obstinate store clerk would not give a reason, and instead called the cops. We decided to live and let live, and leave the store (and not shop there again).
If my wife and I were black, then we could have refused to leave, put up a viral video, and tried to ruin the business. Fortunately, our anecdotal evidence doesn't carry any weight. I guess we just have to struggle along, carrying the only weight we have - our burden of white privilege.
I tell this story to demonstrate how decent people behave, even when they are faced with an apparent misunderstanding or injustice. But for those who have not been brainwashed with a fake ideology that the world is against them, they behave just like their race-baiting leaders have trained them to behave. But the real bad actors in this starbucks situation are, as always, the media, who want to perpetuate a certain narrative of discontent.
Honestly, when are people going to get tired of this nonsense?
"Black privilege gets me free coffee. I love racism. Only in America," posted Sharpe, adding a #StarbucksChallenge hashtag to another tweet.
Gist of Celery's narrative: black people falsely concoct all accounts of racism.
In which era can we agree whites in USA are or were racist? In your mind Celery were whites ever racist in USA? Give us a date Celery. When were your white relatives racists Celery?

There were no other crimes worthy of the cops attention that day?
You know it takes a half day to book and process these incidents.
How many murders or other felonies went on at the same time that were ignored?
They couldn't have just gone outside and written them a ticket or notice to appear in court?
The whole thing is such a crock.
The CEO is all high and mighty, but he doesn't work in a store where there is a big homeless population and deal with it every day.
Smelling up a corner where nobody can sit, tying up the bathroom doing god knows what then an employee has to clean it, harassing customers for handouts. Deal with that every day and see how tolerant you are.
Then you also have the people that tie up space daily and never buy anything. That manager knows exactly how that location works.
Won't even get into the different cultural aspects of some. Each store is different and until anyone spends time there, they have no basis to criticize the decisions made by the workers there.
I know that I'm not racist. I'm fairly certain that all of the close relatives whom I know well, are not racist. I won't speculate on the racism of anyone else because I don't pretend to be a mind reader. If I ever meet professor Xavier, I'll ask him for you.
As for "whites" in the USA, in all of history, I don't presume to be able to read their minds either. And I don't label them all as racist. Some were clearly racist, but many of them were radical abolitionists. Labeling them all racist, just because they were of European ancestry and lived in the USA, would be prejudicial, (or to use another term, racist).
Please learn some history, or at least read any book by Thomas Sowell.
I don't need you to tell me to learn history or read T. Sowell. In light of two black males being arrested in PA, you felt you needed to tell us about the one time a clerk wasn't nice to your wife. In context of the recent arrests of two men, you implied black people imagine racism. I know way more about Sowell than you know about Sowell. He was a hard left economist as a young man. Sowell felt he needed to earn a living. To gain employment in GOP think tanks, Sowell had to walk the walk. Give us more accounts of store clerks being mean to your wife.

Hahahah. So Thomas Sowell doesn't really believe the things he's written in over 40 books? He's dedicated his life to elaborating on empirical evidence regarding history and economics, and you say it's just a ruse to serve his white masters in the GOP. Do you not think a black man is incapable of honestly having the opinions of Thomas Sowell? Are you making a character judgment about Sowell based on his skin color? Now whose being racist?
And since you infer that my wife's experience as insignificant, THAT'S MY POINT! My wife's experience, just like the experience of the two men in PA, is anecdotal evidence that doesn't prove anything about racism in America. Are some people racist? Sure. Is America a racist country? Not by a long shot. We got rid of all overtly racist laws over 50 years ago. White America elected a black president twice. If there are any laws that do adversely affect minorities, they are the product of misguided progressive plans that hurt the very people they attempt to help. For example, higher minimum wage laws lead to greater disparities in unemployment between young blacks and young whites. In other words, minimum wage hurts black kids more than it hurts white kids. If there is any white privilege, it is the result of idiotic progressive laws that totally ignore empirical economic data.
America in 2018 is the most non-racist, tolerant, and prosperous society in modern history. If you can't see that, you are like an ungrateful kid at a birthday party who just opened up 2 dozen presents, and starts crying because there aren't any more to open. Anyone who is trying to stir up racial animosity in 2018 is trying to sow hate and discontent between different groups of people, where the individuals in each group have never themselves done any harm to the other group. Race baiting in 2018 is the devils work. I don't pretend it is anything but a misguided and evil attempt to bring violence and hatred into our otherwise peaceful and tolerant society.
And yes, I know that T. Sowell used to be a Marxist. When asked what changed his mind, his answer is simple, "Facts."

they claimed that they asked a barista for the code to the bathroom and were told they could not have it because they had not yet purchased anything; they then allegedly sat down in the Starbucks while waiting for a business meeting, but were accosted by a manager asking them if they would purchase anything.

Clearly video would disprove "racism" charge. But it wouldn't fit MSM narrative that SB execs prefer. So they "sacrifice" this Philly SJW barista, to serve their masters.
