Every business that has a bathroom should let the public use it unhindered. If a lot of people are wandering in to use it, the store is in the wrong location to be acting gentrified.

Baristas might have thought they were drug dealers, ez mistake to make. Or was protecting their $4.50 a square carrot cake.
It's very bad form to get into a restaurant and use the facilities without buying something. Maybe the manager was tired of lots of people coming and not buying stuff but hanging out. It's a good reason to haul someone out if they won't leave.
Very strange, given that Starbucks' bathrooms are used constantly by non-customers. As for not ordering before the third person came, that is totally conventional, because it is rude to get your drinks before the other people show up, especially at a meeting at a coffee shop.

You’re right, it is in bad form. But to get arrested over it?
More people from that Starbucks that night have come forward (in addition to that video.) Apparently several of them were in the Starbucks significantly longer, not purchasing. But, for some reason, these two men were singled out.

Like I said, wrong location to act gentrified. If you don't want drug dealer clientele, move your shop somewhere else, and let 7-11 have your spot.
Just because you want to make money doesn't give you the right to barge into a neighborhood and tell people how to act.
Ignore this thread since it's no big deal. Hell, even the US Government roadblocks Arabs from public places in Israel.
The world is a better place with law and order. I love it.

We're lucky that the founding fathers didn't share your viewpoint. They would have been kissing the boots of the Redcoats instead of requesting independence from them.

Are you seeing independence from the United States? I encourage you to move to another country that is a better fit for your values. Perhaps Sudan or Syria.

Obey or go to jail, lowlife. Cowards end up in jail. Their only concern is for themselves.

Are the people who have been saying things like they should’ve been arrested, or they’re lowlifes and scum of the earth, understand that they were waiting for someone and that they stated this fact multiple times. How many times have you gotten to a restaurant earlier than some of your party, don’t order because it’s rude to order before everyone shows, and may have used the bathroom to wash hands or whatever while waiting? I surely have
