Not me. Top athletes now whine a lot more and bail out of races with a sniffle.
Look at the number of races that Rodgers, Lindsay, Meyer, etc...ran during one calendar year. You think they were close to 100% every race? No way.
The had to race to get paid, and most of those races were workouts.
Also, not to take anything away from BR, but it's worth remembering that he was truly awful in the heat. So I'm not sure this whole "he just sucked it up and ran like a machine no matter what" idea really fits the facts.
Despite being awful in the heat he won both New York and Boston in the heat and took Henry Rono to the wire in a very hot half in Puerto Rico.
