What this means is that Usain Bolt misses the adulation. Well he must accept the reality that he is no longer the best in the world. If he is willing to come back and not be the best, then why not. He really should stay retired though as he will be humiliated by the best.

I dunno the field is relatively weak right now. I think if he trained hard enough and had the right doctors appointments he could still be the best for another couple of years.

That's not it.
Look at how he followed up SIX MINUTES later, explaining why he felt that way. He knows they could've done better with him.

I emphasized the important part for you.
There is one and only response to this thread:
400m.
Lance also staged a comeback, that ultimately was his downfall.

Exactly ?
As a counter to those tweets, a journalist asked Bolt if "he was right to think" Bolt could come back for 2020. Bolt responded with, “You are very wrong.”
Bolt was quoted saying “I think I’ve seen too many people return and come back into the sport and shame themselves. I won’t be one of those persons."
He is still young and healthy for the most part. I don't believe he has a wife or family to take care of and settle down with, so of course he still has an itch compete. Partying and playing video games all night is fun every now and then is fun but gets stale fast.
Weak? Coleman is poised to break the 100m world record and there are several great 200m guys in the world.

True. That’s his only other chance for a gold. He’s run 43 splits in the past as a 100/200 runner.
Globally Track & Field is in a sorry state.
Probably someone just offered Bolt a shitload of money to come back (The IAAF, his old shoe sponsor, the Jamaican government, a new shoe sponsor - or any combination of the above).
Building interrest via social media is one way to increase the bid.
Good for him! :-)

I wish that he'd come back is that he'd be smoked by Christian Coleman.
Christian Coleman is literally the new kid on the blocks.
Correction;
'.....so that he'd be smoked..........'.
I'll say this. If Bolt doesn't come back in 2019, he will never return. He isn't going to come back in an Olympic year - 2020 - just to lose. If he does Tokyo, he'll want a few races before that season. If he waits all the way to 2021, he'll be 34 years old and well out of shape and too far gone. I don't think Bolt has the willpower to come back after getting completely out of shape over a period of years. He's done what he set out to do and doesn't want to tarnish that reputation further.
coleman's good.....but not that good.he'll beat bolt,if bolt chooses to make a comeback, but he wont break his world records.
Now I am convinced that a comeback for 2019 always was part of his plans and maybe finish things up at Tokyo 2020. He'll run the 400 this time around. You watch.

If he does indeed do what you say he'll lose. Guaranteed. He likely won't even medal.
