Though I called the winner out with 2 laps to go. He looked really good. He is only a sophomore?
From the “future”
Cruz runs
4:06 this year
4:01 next
3:56 senior

Not sure about that, but she is attacking the 3200 right now at Acadia. The sophomore just took it out hard 5:00 flat at 1600 mark.

Slowish boys mile.
Unbelievable. The son of two Olympians - only a sophomore - blows out a 57 last lap and wins and that's your comment? Really.
Who cares about the time? How about, "Do we have our next phenom????"
Rojo
PS. I didn't watch the race - just got a text from Weldon about it . How was the field? Do all the studs run the 1600?
10:02 pretty much solo. Nice effort from Hart!!

Wow. 57 last lap for the win. He absolutely crushed them.
I figured Alan and Shayne might have him take it low key after Texas Relays but he went right into the fire and crushed guys who had run faster than him.

Speaking of which. Who pays for these kids to fly all over the place? I see what the Missouri AD is talking about.
So a HS sophomore from Colorado flies to Texas one weekend and then to California the next to race?
Awesome PR for super soph Katelynne Hart winning the invitational 3200m in 10:02 with a respectable solo effort.
She's incredible, but as crazy as that is for a HS Soph... Tuohy , Lane, Chmiel etc. would give her some tough competition. Hope to see all these girls race each other at some point, they'd definitely crush 10 minutes.
Who are the kids running in lane 4 two laps in?
Webcast and annocer are awesome! Well done
Looked like 16 under 9 flat. Boys DMR up

She is amazing. Won the State CC title last year as a freshman, along with the 1600 and 3200. Repeated as state CC champ again this year and is going to smash all the state records when it's all said and done. She nukes races.
She has been relentless and humble in her progression. May end up being the best of the current, very talented, lot.
27 teams in the DMR!! UGH. Had to bring them back once after an early fall. Cant wait to see the relay handoff zones!
Great camera work as they kept the shot on the relay zones rather than panning over to the leaders for a good 10 seconds. Very entertaining though not a single runner got wham-sauced.
So lost in the shuffle was the incredible battle for 22nd place in the 3200 between NXN champ Aidan Troutner and FL Champ Dylan Jacobs. Troutner got Jacobs in a thrilling duel, 9:05 to 9:06... Therefore NXN>Footlocker

And SOPHOMORE Cole Sprout from Valor Christian in Colorado ran 4:12.79 for 3200 meters at altitude today!

Troutner and Jacobs were very disappointing over the last 2000m. Danny Kilrea also got toasted over the last 800m. Jacobs has Randy Moss syndrome "I play when I feel like playing"
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
