I do but don’t need a light. It takes a few runs to get used to the feeling of running in the dark. After that I really prefer to run in the dark. Eventually I have to run in the daytime and that takes a few runs to get used to as well. I never prefer to run in the daytime but I don’t normally have a lot of choice in the matter. I usually try to imagine I’m in Chapter 20 “Night Run” of On e a Runner and really cool instead of lame. Good times.
yeah i don't usually need a light either, I'll run in the more residential part of town where there are the most street lights but the negative part of that is the scenery isn't as nice.. If I want to run at night and be more in nature then I think I'm going to need to use the headlamp which is what I did the other night along this paved trail by the lake, well worth it but I think most people in my town including the cops definitely seemed "curious".
I have started rotating my runs, sometimes when the sun is just coming up and sometimes after sundown, both have their perks and negatives. :)
