Please enlighten me. I even see people reversing into spaces when they could just drive forward into the space behind it and pull up.

Anyone sitting in a vehicle backed into a space in a park, trailhead, etc, is a homosexual looking for a hookup.
Getaway car.
Other reasons.
One, I'm already better than you since I'm vegan.
Two, I want to let you know how much better I am by showing off my parking skills.
It's safer. You can easily control what is behind you when backing into a space. It is far more difficult to control what is behind you when backing out of a space. There are many industrial facilities with safety programs that require their employees to back into parking spaces as it is safer.
Already a thread on this
Do you just make a new thread like this every three months or whatever?
Much more dangerous. The other day a guy stops in front of me in the parking lot, decides not to back up into a space, moves forward, then stops, moves backward and gets into a space. While he did this, he put any number of people at risk. Later on, he would leave his spot in the wrong direction, causing further havoc.

This is literally the only explanation I could come up with. How can it be a safety issue? Are there dead babies crawling in the parking lot that you might miss? I've never crashed into anyone reversing out of a parking spot.
And I guess I don't troll these boards enough because I have not seen a thread addressing this question.

Dead babies don’t crawl.
1. For a large vehicle like a big pickup, it’s arguably easier to back in than pull in forward.
2. I don’t want to get gunned down while backing up out of my spot to make my getaway.
This doesn't bother me as much as tiny cars pulling all the way into a full spot.

I'm not following. Are you not supposed to pull all the way into the spot?
I live in a large city with a high black population. I've noticed this before and there seems to be a correlation with back-in parking and black Americans.
Also, the vast majority of handicap space parking, is black Americans.

Because when your car only takes up half a spot, it looks like it's empty to others looking for a place to park. They start pulling in and bam, tiny car.
At some point you're going to have to do some reversing.
You can either do that at your leisure when you're parking and hold up the traffic behind you ...
... or struggle to get out into a flow of traffic which won't be willing to stop for you. People who live on main roads can really struggle to get out of their driveways when they've gone in forwards. It's easier to edge out forwards and spot a gap.
I wouldn't get too hung up on it - do whatever you feel happiest doing and don't judge others for their preference.
If it’s a narrow space, it’s much, much easier to reverse in - you use your side mirrors to make sure you aren’t going to hit the parked vehicles either side. You can’t judge the width as easily if you go in forwards. Also, it’s safer for then driving out into traffic. Not that hard to figure out, or remotely hard to do, unless you’re an American.
Car owners are insecure and lazy.

Woman driver hits parked car in parking spot and bam! blames it on tiny car.

This. If you've ever owned or driven a large pickup (which I'm assuming you haven't), it is much easier to back in than to do a weird 3 point turn type maneuver and pull in forward. The same goes with leaving the spot. With long vehicles such as trucks, particularly in small parking lots, you can't just back up, turn, and pull away because of the cars in spaces in back of you. Again, it would require a weird 3 point turn type maneuver. Since the front wheels turn and the rear wheels do not, driving forward out of the spot (as well as backing into it) is made much easier.
I can't speak for small cars. No idea why they do it.
