Karra looks like she is in great shape on instgram
Probably getting ready for her Masters career. She turns 40 in less than 4 months.

Have you run your sub 1:20 attempt yet?
It's great that she's an ambassador for the sport- beyond her prime but still racing. I'm sure she inspires a lot of women to run for health and fitness.

Dude it’s not that difficult if you’re a real runner
Did her best running under alsal.
I’m still waiting at the finish line for the truth to come out.
It might be a while.
If you followed her, you'd see that she ran this as a long run. She was an ambassador for the race and they likely wanted her to hop in. I'm sure it was a harder long run, but it wasn't an all out race or time trial for her. I doubt she's in great shape right now but with her talent she wouldn't be racing 1:19. I'd think she'd at least be 1:15.

Lol you’re probably a hobby jogger yourself.
Aren't we all.? I started as one and ended as one. It's my favorite hobby.
MY SON
Patti, you may have started as one and ended as one, but I'm sure your PR's would put most us guys to shame.
Too bad your career was cut short, but you are still one of my favorite runners.

For a 40yo woman?
awwhhh, thank you.
As a matter of fact I'm going out now to do one of my favorite "hobby" courses. I could say Hobbit course, thinking of doing trails.
Ya'know funny how it starts out. "WEEEeee, this is great!!! I'm having FUN!" "WOW! " who knew.
Then reality sets in...ugh, it hurts.
Then WEee again...winning....then reality sets in, what to do with all the trophies..LOL!!!!
Do everything humanly possible to get faster and then celebrate Thanksgiving alone at a Denny's...lol! Reality.
..but WEEEEE, this is fun.!!! Injuries...set in, not fun. Take a break.. relax, "pick a hobby", You're told...ok...Weeeee this is fun...forgot how much I loved this running thing. LOL!!
I don't call my self a runner, I tell people I run. Ya'know neighbors. I live in the boonies, nobody knows me...WEEeeee this is fun!!!
I'm not the biggest Kara fan, but this wasn't a serious effort from her. She was there to promote.

lol my weekly longrun is 12 miles in 78 minutes, and I'm in high school. honestly, it isn't that hard, I could go 1:18 for 13.1 if I went harder than 80-85% effort.

Well she's barely raced in the last 2 years so THIS will mark her comeback.
