Did you see these elite fields of London? This is insane! Makes Boston marathon look like a welfare case.

Uh there's like 3 guys on that list who aren't washed up. Maybe 5-6 will break 2:10 on the day.
I'm rolling with Adola or Karoki this year. Both are well educated in the marathon now, and can blaze out of their minds.
Bekele will DNF. Dude should have done some half marathons or something as a tune up race. That is his main problem he never does any tune-up races to see where his form his.

I look forward to seeing Bekele get the world record. I'm willing to bet anyone here any amount of money they want. If I lose, I'll pay you, and retire from letsrun forever.

that was back in December 2017! get out of here. He is not known for doing tune up stuff.
Only 2:09 guys like That Oregon guy and like slowmo are doing stupid tune ups
Did you see the master Kipchoge doing any of that nonsense?

I never quite understood "tune up" races. Is there a way to compete at your best a few weeks before a marathon? I doubt that. So why would you get paid to come to a race you're not taking seriously? Do race organisers get a discount?

Karoki was beaten handily in Fukuoka. Adola will be a definite threat. I don't think Bekele will ever show up unprepared again after the scolding he got from Hermens last year. He'll run on the proverbial "pure hate". I think Eliud has had an unmatchable run and is finally due his first loss in years. Just not sure if it will be Adola, Bekele or dark horse Lawrence Cherono. I'll be rooting for Cherono, of course.
No world records, by the way.
Expect great things....
Banana, I'm in for $20... KB won't break the WR !

Would be nice to see Kam and Rupp in there as well, but they have other priorities this spring.
Disappointed that Allie Kieffer had to drop out, would have loved to see what she could do in a fast race.
Hard to say what will happen, but with that much talent in the race, somobody should be flirting with 2:03. And Keitany vs. Dibaba should be legendary. Would be nice to see Paula's record go down.

He gave his best shot in 2016, don't waste your money.
I don't want to bankrupt everybody. It will be priceless to see the anti Bekele crowd go silent after London. Mark my words, he will run 2:02. I'm sure 1 or 2 others could run 2:02 2(had to throw in something witty lol, 2 as in 'too'), but Bekele will be laughing the hardest. 5k, 10k and marathon world record at the same time, now that is something I'm excited to see. The historical moment is nearly here.
If you honestly think Bekele in his current form can beat Eliud MF Kipchoge then you have quite the colorful imagination.
Damn Sam Chelanga is already 32

what is Bekele's current form?
Precisely. Bekele in good form is a massive threat to the WR. But he's probably not in good form.
