I don't think David Monti is a shill for any shoe company?
How did he did out before you?
Good try. You are out of the loop.

Well let's see. He controls the $$ for the NYRR so of course people cozy up to him. He also happens to be in Valencia.
Can you explain why that specific thread/post was deleted because it lacked validity? The message board is 90% fiction. How do you decide which threads to delete because it was allegedly started by a troll and which to keep? In contrast, individual sub Reddits often have very clear rules and moderators/bots will state why specific comments and threads are removed. Some transparency would go along way in gaining some trust from your visitors. We might even start to respect you as journalists at some point.
Kam is in ridiculous/monstrous shape. If weather cooperates, he will break the world record. Unfortunately it looks like it won't. Still, Kam will walk it, i say 58:3x, tying Wanjiru or so.

Here's the original story. It's obvious why it was deleted. If you do have an inside scoop, this is how not to "report" it:

Is there some rule that the thread broke? Did I miss something, is this forum supposed to be curated by rojo?

Rupp would have 0 chanches against Kam and Cheroben. Moen or Robertson even less so. Top 5 at best for Rupp.
What are “chanches”?
How can you have “even less so” than 0? Would that be negative “chanches”?
Also, that would mean you are saying Moen & Robertson > Kam? Lol
Rupp isn’t afraid of anyone - certainly not some no name white guys.
Well,
I would say Rupp is more of a no name than Moen.
With Rupp, much of the US/Canada running world + some more spectators know of him (about 5,000,000), less so in Europe (so about another 3,000,000), and then some in Japan (about 1,000,000), with another 1,000,000 around the world. Total 10,000,000
With Moen, I would say the hard core running community knows of him in the US, so about 100,000, many more in Europe know of him, (likely 8,000,000), but in Japan, he's a hit...probably 20,000,000 know of him.
Clearly, its no contest. Rupp is the no name comparatively.[/quote]
Jake has great economy but no change up for a sprint.

I disagre. On matters of substance, the messageboard is almost always true. I don't know who deleted the thread. I imagine it was deleted exactly because people have been more vocal in their complaints that we delete threads. I think someone probably realized that the OP was responding to their own thread under different names and thus assumed it was false.
So you can't. Got it.
Okay. Well there's no way of verifying that on matters of substance its almost always true so we'll have to agree to disagree. I'm asking for the rule which lead it to getting to deleted. It sounds like the rule is threads with false info may be deleted? Is that it? Also despite allowing posters to use multiple user names, which is a feature that really defines this site, using multiple user names can lead to a thread being deleted?
I'm simply trying to unearth what the rules are in this place. Help me out here.
It was deleted because it called out the Dince Twins. It hand delivered to the site that Hasay pulled out. Rather than check it out for accuracy and then delete if it was false the Blohoes didn't want a nobody calling them out. The problem is these guys that act like they're well connected had no means to follow up. People don't answer their calls. They only know what they read.
For the record David Monti is not an employee for the NYRR. He is an outside contractor. Sam is the only NYRR employee that works with elites. You should know these things.
Alberto Stretti
David Katz
Rob Lotwus
Mary Wittenberg
Pete Julian
And 2 members of the coaching staff were my sources.
David Monti had not heard yet when I talked with him.
Alberto Salazar didn't return my call until after I confirmed it with others.
its strange you dont always delete threads with falsehoods in the op
http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=8700030remember when you did not understand the rules. you did not even bother to edit the op to make it clear the rules were followed
How much does the predicted wind affect elite performances? 2-3" / mile?

I'm a fan too, but I fear Cheroben will be tough to beat.

I think there has to be a youtube live stream for the race.

I'm a fan too, but I fear Cheroben will be tough to beat.
Cheroben was injured in January, i don't think he's back to his best already..
