Just curious to see what you guys think since I won't have the opportunity to run a decent track track 5000 any time soon (I torn my acl about 2 weeks after this road race)
Do you think my 15:15 on the road with a slight net climb shows that I was in shape to beat my track 5000 PR or would you consider the races more or less equal performances? I won the road race by about 2 minutes, but I usually feel pretty comfortable just racing myself on the roads.

Was it short? I once ran a 17:45 4-mile race. Turns out it was 3.3 miles.
It was a certified course, and I've used the same course a ton of times for training runs. I'm pretty certain that it's accurately measured.
I'd definitely say the 15:15 is better--maybe worth a 14:40 on a track with people breaking the wind for you. Hopefully it won't be too long till your back from this injury so that you can test it out.
