They ran out of medals for finishers. While I agree usually not everyone should get a medal, for a marathon I think just finishing is a huge deal for most people , especially those that labored through in 6+ hours so to run out is brutal. The website has two different maps each with different aid station locations. Corral A had so many B's in there I had to ask another A if I was in the right spot, I didn't want to waste energy at the start running around slow people, but after half mile at like 8:30 pace I had to get away from that mass of people who had no business being up front. The winner only gets like 23,000 compared to what, 150k for Boston. It's poorly run and doesn't attract the creme de le creme for a reason. Weather was perfect though! For sure more geared towards the people who just want to say they "ran" a marathon, sot for serious hobby joggers.
