I am a 24 year old female at 5’3 and 127lbs and have been running for 6 months, I run 3 miles at 8:40 pace and long runs of 10 miles at 10-11 minute mile pace. So I mix the pace up a fair bit. I also do 400-1 mile repeats at anywhere between 6:40 and 8:20 pace. I would like to get under 6 in the mile, I know I have the natural ability and speed because I ran 6:04 off pure luck and unstructured training many years ago off 10-15mpw and would like to get back there but I’m finding even getting under 7 quite difficult at the moment, any tips?
