the Nike Zoomfly, a great shoe.

Yeah, the zoomfly is good for it’s price.
I'm afraid I wouldn't know a Nike Vaporfly 4% if one landed on my desk, but I am curious to know which shoe Galen Rupp was wearing in his half marathon last weekend and I'm also really surprised there haven't been at least four threads on this already. can any of you shoe nerds help me out here?
cheers.
Has anyone ever RUN. Seriously, are you really that stupid and/or uneducated or are you just trolling? How do runners not know how to use the verb “run” correctly ?
Moran.
I've ran in the zoom flys since they come out! Their Greeeeeaaaat!

Black Vapoflies.
Better question, what was he on?
I really think you should by the Zoom Fly instead. Much better shoe.
I've been running on the Zoomfly and let me tell ya, they should call them the Vaporfly 10%!!!

Curious how they compare to the Vaporfly 4% model. I'm asking because I can purchase a pair, albeit quite expense.
No comments needed about the crapass Zoomfly version.
Thanks in advance.
Serious reply here. I have 4 pairs of VF 4%, so I have done plenty of training and racing in them and have read everything I can find on them and the elites. To the best of my knowledge, the Elites are probably a little lighter, but the biggest difference is that the plate was specially tuned to the body weight of each runner that used them in Breaking 2. Since you are likely buying one of the limited edition pairs, you won't get that benefit, so I would say while cool to own if you have the cash, no guarantee that they will be in better for you than the off the shelf 4%. If it were me, I would save the cash and just buy more pairs of 4%.
BTW, Galen did were Vaporfly Elite's in his recent half for the first time ever in a race. It would be cool to hear their sponsored athletes talk about these shoes more, but other than Shalane and Amy talking about them briefly, no one really says anything. Galen and Kipchoge would be the ones that talk about the difference in the elite and the 4% and it would be interesting to hear their take. Personally, I think the 4% is the best road racing shoe ever made and it's super fun running in them.
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
