because it uses less energy? do you go out and hobbyjog your races in a pure way, never sitting behind anyone when you are hurting and step in front to break the wind for everyone behind you?!

you don't know anything, NOP may have even paid those guys to pace him, who the heck knows.
i think you are one of those people who would rather lose leading a race than winning by racing smart and drafting, like Prefontaine. It didn't get him much on the international stage, and rarely does it work these days in longer races.
